We engaged Netheroak to set up an Amanah trust after my father passed. They walked us through every step of the process without making us feel rushed. The trust deed was thorough and the team answered all our questions patiently, even when we asked the same things more than once. I felt the whole family was in good hands.

Netheroak prepared the estate accounts for my late uncle's property. The accounts were clear and the court accepted them on the first submission. I would have liked slightly more frequent updates during the quieter periods, but overall the work was done well and on the timeline they estimated.

My family had been trying to trace a beneficiary for two years before we came to Netheroak. Within eight weeks, they located my cousin in Sabah and produced the documentation we needed for court. Their investigative work was impressively thorough. I did not expect things to move that quickly, honestly.

As someone living in KL, I was worried about working with a Melaka-based firm. Those concerns turned out to be unfounded. Everything was handled through email and video calls. Susan and her team made the whole Amanah trust process clear and manageable. I barely had to travel at all.

The estate accounts Kumar prepared for us were meticulous. Every ringgit was accounted for, and the format was exactly what the court required. There was a minor delay related to one bank's response time, but Netheroak kept us informed throughout. A solid, professional service.

Melaka
My late husband's estate involved both Syariah and civil matters. Netheroak handled both sides without us having to hire separate lawyers. Razif explained everything in plain Bahasa and English so my mother-in-law could follow along too. That meant a great deal to our family.

Success Stories
Reuniting a Family Through Heir Tracing
The Challenge
An estate in Melaka could not be distributed because one of three siblings had moved abroad decades ago without leaving contact information. The remaining family had no way to locate him, and the court required all beneficiaries to be accounted for.
Our Approach
We searched Malaysian immigration and civil records, then extended our investigation to international genealogical databases. After cross-referencing several leads, we identified the missing sibling in Perth, Australia, and established contact through verified channels.
The Outcome
Within ten weeks, we presented verified documentation to the court. The estate distribution proceeded, and the family was reunited after nearly twenty years of separation. The missing sibling later attended the settlement meeting in Melaka.
Structuring an Amanah Trust for a Blended Family
The Challenge
A client with children from two marriages wanted to ensure fair distribution of assets while respecting Islamic inheritance principles. There were concerns about potential disputes between the two sides of the family after the client's passing.
Our Approach
We worked closely with the client to understand their wishes, then drafted an Amanah trust that placed specific assets under management with clear distribution instructions. The structure was reviewed for compliance with both Syariah principles and Malaysian trust law.
The Outcome
The trust was established within six weeks. Both sides of the family were briefed on the arrangements and understood the rationale. The client expressed relief at having a clear plan in place that everyone had been informed about.
Resolving a Stalled Estate Administration
The Challenge
An estate administration had been stalled for over a year because the appointed administrator could not produce accounts acceptable to the court. Multiple submissions had been rejected due to incomplete documentation and incorrect formatting.
Our Approach
We took over the account preparation, starting from scratch. Our team gathered all bank statements, receipts, and disposition records, then reconciled every transaction. The accounts were formatted to the specific requirements of the Melaka High Court.
The Outcome
The re-prepared accounts were accepted on the first submission. The administrator was discharged within three months of our involvement, and beneficiaries received their distributions shortly after. Total time from engagement to resolution was approximately fourteen weeks.
